Junior Chef Competition - NYAA chalet cum commissioning

Sunday - 21/12

-went for Junior chef competition with wanwen, bixue, jasmine & yiting as spectators.

-well, nothing much, haha, just looked at the chefs cook. But it sure smelt good. :D

-cook cook cook. I remember they were supposed to do 1 dish using olive oil and another dish where you have to turn the bitterness of beer to sweetness. ooh..

-all chefs of restaurants. :D

- took a photo before we left. :D

I was EXTREMELY excited.. cos it was my 1st ever Chalet!!! xD

-So I went on to Vivo to meet shihui, zhengyi, zhiyong, shanshan and i forgot her name =x.
-then went to GIANT to get some stuff for the chalet.

-walked to the big open space at the top of vivo to wait for more NYAA members.

-after waiting for most of them, we went to take the monorail. most of them were carrying big packages so they went through the big gate. haha.

-when reached beach station, zhiyong, ah hui & I took the beach tram with all the big bulky packages. like below..

-then we alighted 1 stop too soon and had to walk..
-I saw a squirrel, actually many..

-then we checked in into Coasta Sands Resort or something. hahaha. I forgot the name. :P
-so we checked out the room.

2 single beds..

1 big mirror..

loads of bags.. (ours)

1 nice big mirror in the toilet as well..

yes, not forgetting the shower and the toilet bowl.

=so this nice room for 4 girls in the first night.

Then I can't stay in the chalet watching tv the whole day. haha. So shihui & I went to the beach together with oliver, zhiyong, zhengyi & nasiruddin.

-we played frisbee first.

-then followed by volleyball.. whereby we played with another group of ppl. haha.

I seem like i'm scolding her hor. ahaha..

ooh i look so -.- here.. ah hui, oliver, me.

erm..

us. haha.

-then while the others went to vivo to buy food for us.. I took this nice time to have a lovely long bath of 30mins. LOL.

-then me, shihui, shanshan, zhiyong and (i forgot her name =x) were left in the guys room. We chatted, listened to some stories and blah blah blah.. fun la. haha.

-then the rest came back with dinner. at like 9+pm.. ahem.. made our tummies growl.. haha.. but can't blame them, we were lazy to go out in the first place. heh. :)

-had cup noodles.. mine was tom yam flavour which smelt like fruity loops cereal.. =.= haha.

-lame ppl who have nothing better to do will do this ^.. Well.. big slippers make my feet look small. hahaha.

-then ppl who had some ghost stories told them.. some which weren't really..

-but some did scare me. Yes, i'm a noob.

-yes.. cleaner auntie for a night.

-so one more pic before i go back into my room..

-dun ask me wad happened but i left the door unlocked so that ah hui could go back in in the middle of the night. (so you could imagine.. I didn't sleep very well)

Monday - 22/12

-I woke up very early at 7+am considering I slept officially only at 4 or 5am..

-then shan shan lent me her nintendo(spelling) than there I was playing for 2 hours straight while the rest continued sleeping..

-oh yeah.. & as I didn't realise shihui was sleeping on the floor, I nearly stepped on her.. o.0 whew.. heng i didn't.. or I'll be bald by now. =x

-then i think most of us woke up and had a rojak(pandan bread.. milo..) breakfast and went to the beach with the same ppl.

-played frisbee again & all of us improved. haha.

oliver buried his feet in sand..

we walked to the waves again.. hehe.

& we saw this..

zheng yi caught a lizard.
(I'm really glad it isn't like the house lizard where its tail would fall off & start wiggling)

on my hand. I'm brave. xD But I can't say the same way as cockroaches & the other creepy crawlies.. eew..

-then went back chalet.. i think we slept.. for 2 hours straight..

-then shiying, & 2 other girls came. gee.. I must know their names by the next time i meet them.

-they came back with our lunch! wee!!! thankie!

-then we slacked, watching tv and stuff..

-then went to prepare for NYAA commissioning.

Me! haha. My job was to ask the guests to sign the guestbook and give them the door gifts. :D

& we saw a peacock. ( i think some hungry ppl were praying that it would jump onto the BBQ pit. heh heh)

Nice hor? haha. I love NYAA!!!

-zhiyong & i held the NYAA thing for the committee members to sign on. haha.

wad they doing? they threw ppl into the pool. haha.

ahaha, played psp while waiting for UNO to start..

-they went girls room to play UNO. haha. I won both rounds, weee! hahaha.. Pure luck.. I'm not that good.

what the?!. Unglam!!!.. so I requested a retake. hehe.

-since I finished first, i went to tar pao the leftover stuff from the buffet for the rest to eat.

-then played with the remaining light sticks. lol.

-then went back to the guy's room to listen to more ghost stories but i think we were too tired.. so most of us dozed off..

-but i still managed to keep awake after a while and watched the SIT or SIDMorientation skit by the OGLs. haha. Quite funny. haha. Not bad. :D

-then like 5 something than i went back to the girls room to sleep till morning.. 10am.. Didn't sleep well again. haha.. ppl in that room should know why.

I blew that welcome thing up. (doorgift)

-then went back to Vivo sadly.. but with some hilarious incidents. Like our card was obviously expired.. then there we were tapping furiously on the monorail scanner. haha. Then the person there tapped and tapped her card for us. haha. Poor girl.

-then took bus 855 with adren. haha. Slept around 1/2 of the journey.. which was about 30-40mins. Quite fast le. haha.

-once at home, it was either tv or zzzz....

*finally almost done. Put in the photos nas sent. more pics added.. dunno whether still have or not.. should still have bah. hehe. wait more.. LOL.
