Easter Sunday
Today is Easter Sunday.
I attended church as usual.
I heard a very touching story from Pastor Prince.. Thought I might share it here.
It goes like this..
One day, there was this bus driver driving the school bus filled with school kids. When he was going down the steep hill, he stepped on the brakes. & at that sudden, he realised the brakes were faulty.. What was worse was that below the hill was no other road. It was a steep cliff all the way down..
Then the bus driver remembered, there was a field on the left a few metres more and he swerved in. While he did so, he saw a boy playing by the gate. He had to make a decision in that split moment.
He knocked the boy down and drove the bus to safety.
So the police, paramedics, anxious parents, grandparents, guardians all came.. They realised the bus driver went missing.
The bus driver was in a state of anguish. For the boy he knocked down ... was his son.
Seriously, I already felt like crying already.. & I heard a very touching song, sand by one of the singers in the church.
He sang a version similar to this:
& after I heard that. All the tears in my eyes.
Well, thank God for everything, thank you for giving us Jesus, to die for our sins~
Today, Easter Sunday, is where Jesus rose up again.
Which reminds me of another song. "My sins are gone, I've been set free~"
